Our Beliefs
Lady Lake Assembly of God is affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God and holds to its Fundamental Truths. We believe the Bible is inspired by God and reveals His plan for humanity. There is one true God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, whose life, death, and resurrection provide salvation and restored relationship with God for all who believe.
We believe salvation is available to every person through faith in Jesus Christ. We practice water baptism by immersion and Holy Communion in obedience to Christ. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, which empowers believers for holy living and effective service. Sanctification begins at salvation and continues as a lifelong process of becoming more like Christ.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in faith, and share the gospel with the world under godly, biblical leadership. We believe divine healing is available today through Christ’s atoning work.
We believe in the blessed hope of Christ’s return, the rapture of the Church, the millennial reign of Christ, final judgment, and the promise of a new heaven and new earth, where believers will dwell with the Lord forever.
